Discover an authentic experience at Sésame à l’Atelier and create your own piece of jewellery in nephrite jade, a natural stone that has been worked for centuries.
Depending on the piece you choose, the workshop lasts between 1.5 and 3.5 hours. You will learn the essential techniques for shaping jade, then work at your own pace with personalised guidance in a small group.
⚠️ As jade is a natural stone, available colours and sizes vary depending on our current stock. We therefore cannot always guarantee a specific shade.
📏 Available sizes:
- Bangles: maximum inner diameter of 63 mm. To check your size, fold your thumb into your palm and measure around the widest part of your hand, not your wrist: under 20 cm = suitable.
- Rings: generally available in sizes 50 to 62.
⚠️ Important information:
- One booking = one person = one piece of jewellery.
- Guests are not allowed.
- The workshop is available from 15 years old.
- Cats are present in the workshop 🐾.
- Your hands will get wet during the workshop, so long nails are not recommended.

✔ Choose your stone: select the colour of your jade. Each stone is unique, with its own natural shades and reflections.
✔ Choose your piece: create one piece of jewellery of your choice:
Jade ring or bangle → the shape is the same for everyone and cannot be engraved, in order to preserve the strength of the stone, as jade is more fragile when shaped into a ring.
Jade pendant or amulet→ you can shape the piece by hand and engrave lucky words or symbols, as the stone is more stable in this format.
✔ Finish your creation: if you make a pendant or amulet, you will mount it on a cord and personalise it with beads of your choice to create a necklace, bracelet, or traditional keychain.
🍵 The experience also includes a drink of your choice, a printed souvenir photo, an elegant jewellery box, and a certificate of authenticity, which entitles you to complimentary polishing of your jewellery.

• Cancellations or rescheduling are possible up to **72 hours before the start of the workshop**.
• In case of cancellation, a **€3 processing fee** will be deducted from the refund.
• If you reschedule between **72 and 24 hours before the start of the workshop**, you will receive a credit worth **50% of the workshop price** to use for a future booking.
• Less than **24 hours before the workshop**, or in case of a no-show, **no refund, credit, or rescheduling will be possible**.
• Any arrival more than **20 minutes late** will result in the cancellation of your participation, with **no refund, credit, or rescheduling**.

We use genuine nephrite jade from Xiuyan, in Liaoning province (China), recognized for millennia for its beauty and symbolism.
Selected for its workability and durability, it allows us to create unique pieces of jewelry, entirely handcrafted in our Parisian workshop.
Traditionally, jade is considered a protective stone, a symbol of luck, balance, and inner harmony.
Each stone is unique, with its own reflections and shades, making every creation a piece of jewelry that will accompany you for a lifetime.
