Article 2 - Purpose and Scope

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the sales of jewelry and creative workshop services offered on the sesameaparis.com website, as well as associated gift cards. They apply to any order placed by a customer, without restriction or reservation. Any order implies full and complete acceptance of these GTCS.

Article 3 - Products and Services Offered

  • Jewelry handcrafted to order (rings, bracelets, 999 silver or jade pendants).
  • Creative workshops (Silver Clay, Jade, Creative, Signature) reserved for a specific date and time, taking place in our Parisian workshop.
  • Gift cards, valid for 1 year from the date of purchase, usable for booking a workshop.

Workshops are reserved for persons aged 15 and over. Each booking corresponds to one person and the creation of one piece of jewelry; non-participating companions are not allowed in the workshop.

Article 4 - Price

Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC). Shipping costs, if applicable, are calculated and displayed at the time of payment, before final validation of the order. Sésame à Paris reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, with the understanding that the applicable price is the one in effect at the time of order validation.

Article 5 - Order and Booking

Jewelry orders and workshop bookings are made directly online on the Site. Order confirmation constitutes acceptance of these GTCS. A confirmation email is sent to the customer at the address provided during the order.

For personalized jewelry (choice of engraving, size, material, etc.), specifications cannot be modified once the order has been validated.

Article 6 - Payment

Payment is made online at the time of ordering, by credit card or any other means offered on the Site (Shop Pay, Apple Pay). Payment data is processed directly by our secure payment providers; Sésame à Paris does not have access to your full bank details.

Article 7 - Jewelry Delivery

As our jewelry is handmade to order, manufacturing and shipping times vary according to the type of piece:

  • For standard jewelry (without personalization), the timeframe is generally between 7 and 20 working days.
  • For bespoke or personalized jewelry (engraving, specific dimensions, particular choices), the manufacturing time may be longer, as the piece is only created after final validation of the order. The estimated timeframe is communicated to the customer at the time of ordering.

These timeframes are provided for indicative purposes and may vary depending on the complexity of the piece.

In the event of non-delivery or damage noticed upon receipt, the customer must contact customer service at contact@sesameaparis.com within 5 working days following receipt, enclosing the necessary supporting documents (photos, description). After this period, the claim unfortunately cannot be taken into account.

Article 8 - Right of Withdrawal (Jewelry Purchase)

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to justify a reason or pay a penalty, with the exception of the exclusion cases provided for below.

To exercise this right, you may notify us of your decision to withdraw by email at contact@sesameaparis.com, before the expiry of the 14-day period, using the template below if you wish:

"I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract concerning order no.[...], ordered on [...] and received on [...]. Name, consumer address, date."

Jewelry must be returned intact, in its original packaging, within 14 days from the notification of your withdrawal. Return costs remain your responsibility, unless an error was made on our part in preparing the order. Reimbursement occurs within a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the returned item or proof of shipping, by the same payment method as that used for the order.

Exclusions from the right of withdrawal (Art. L221-28 of the Consumer Code):

  • Personalized jewelry (engraving, bespoke dimensions, specific choices made at the customer's request) cannot be subject to any withdrawal, exchange, or refund, in accordance with the exclusion applicable to goods manufactured according to consumer specifications.
  • For health and hygiene reasons, earrings and piercings unsealed after delivery cannot be returned.

Article 9 - Workshops: Cancellation, Postponement, No Right of Withdrawal

Workshop bookings concern a leisure service provided on a specific date and time. In accordance with Article L221-28, 12° of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to workshop bookings, as these fall under leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date.

In return, the following cancellation and postponement conditions apply to any workshop booking:

  • Cancellation or postponement is possible up to 72 hours before the start of the workshop, upon simple request to contact@sesameaparis.com.
  • In case of cancellation within this period, a processing fee of €3 will be deducted from the refund.
  • In case of postponement requested between 72h and 24h before the start of the workshop, a credit corresponding to 50% of the workshop price will be granted for a future booking.
  • Less than 24 hours before the workshop, or in case of absence, no refund, credit, or postponement can be granted.

Article 10 - Gift Cards
